Nauyaca is two falls stacked one above the other, and the lower one drops into a pool wide enough to swim across. It is the photograph most people have already seen before they arrive, and it is one of the few that does not quietly disappoint in person.
Getting there is a hike through farmland and forest, about four kilometres there and back, on a track rather than a scramble. It is not flat and it is not technical. Take it at your own pace and there is nothing difficult about it.

Back at the hotel.
